The Restaurant at the Readsboro Inn is warm and inviting in all seasons.  The Dining Room and the chef adapt to the seasons, bringing each patron a special dining experience.    White linen tablecloths, fresh flowers, comfortable seating, local art and historic memorabilia fill the soft natural looking dining room.

 In the spring and summer the Dining Room is bright and airy, bursting with wildflowers and inspired views of the Green Mountains.  The menu offers such items as Caprese salad, seafood, pesto dishes, young organic chicken and many more seasonal dishes.   Each dish can be paired with a wine from the expanded wine list to enhance your dining experience.   For a more relaxed dinner, an outside deck is open for alfresco dining.

 In the autumn and winter the dining room glows with the light and warmth of the wood stove; distant mountains covered with frost or snow can be viewed from the window seating in the dining room.  A more robust menu of stews, soups, root vegetables, risotto and comfort foods is served.   A large selection of red wines is a perfect choice with these hearty Vermont dinners.   Handmade bread accompanies each meal. 

Homemade desserts are so tempting and range from local berry pies to crisp apple tart, rich cheesecakes, and other special creations.  And of course, Green Mountain coffee rounds out the meal.

The Sunday breakfast & brunch menu is “an all you can eat” buffet.    Eggs,  slab bacon and sausage, biscuits and gravy, French toast with maple syrup from “up the road,”  a variety of breads and fresh seasonal fruits are all available to fill your belly before planning the day’s activities.

The Restaurant at The Readsboro Inn is an ideal spot for fine country dining in Southern Vermont.   Large groups can be accommodated. 

The Restaurant at The Readsboro Inn is a wonderful venue for a wedding or anniversary party – we are happy to assist you and to accommodate any special requests.  Please allow plenty of advance notice for private special events.
